Ultra-Max® AMS-3030 EAS Detection System
Sensormatic is proud to introduce the Ultra●Max® AMS-3030 concealed EAS detection system. This enhanced antenna design is the latest addition to the established portfolio of Sensormatic® concealed detection systems. The AMS-3030 has been designed to preserve store aesthetics and maximize customer flow, while utilizing superior Ultra●Max® technology. This exciting new EAS detection solution is an excellent alternative to Floor-
Max® due to the lower cost of ownership and ease of installation.
The AMS-3030 is a floor antenna that provides an easy upgrade option for existing stores that do not utilize EAS,
or are transitioning from other EAS technologies. Installation requires thin floor cuts where the antenna cabling is placed versus the excavation process necessary with traditional Floor-Max® systems. The AMS-3030 can also be installed using the float on floor process. Float on floor is an installation process where the antenna cabling
is secured directly to an existing concrete slab. Once secured, concrete or other types of filler materials are applied over the cabling area, which creates a final bed where flooring materials (i.e. tile, marble, wood etc…)
may be installed. This process is intended for installation during the remodel of existing stores. No excavation is
necessary with float on floor further reducing install costs.
The AMS-3030 provides from 2.1m (7ft) to 8.5m (28ft) of detection coverage with one power pack.
The source of power behind the AMS-3030 is the AMS-9040 controller platform, which provides the flexibility to drive up to four antennas.
