Access Easy Extension Enclosure
Access Easy Extension Enclosure (AEC EXT) provides the space for extending the basic capabilities of the AEC as and when required. In each extension enclosure, there are three available slots for either the AEC 4W EXT boards or the AEC 8I8O EXT boards. For every AEC system configuration, you can extend up to a maximum of 16 Wiegand readers and 32 Input / Output.
The extension enclosure communicates with the AEC via the AEC SER EXT (Serial Extension Board) which is required in every extension enclosure. All the rest of the extension boards are interconnected via the IDE bus port.
There are couple of ways to configure the AEC with the Access Easy Extension depending on your security system
requirement. Refer to the Product Ordering Guide which will help you determine how the system should be configured.
