It is essential that video distributors are installed at all junctions to achieve a clear and clean image on all monitors in the facility. The number of distributors depends on the distribution per floor within the facility. The distributor has 1 video input, 1 bypass output for the next distributor and 4 distribution outputs to distribute the video to the monitors and areas of the facility. If the bypass output is used the resistance must be cut to 75Ohm of the distributor. The distributors may be powered: - directly from the facility’s power (the distributor is always active). It is often used for
distribution in strands – through the monitors: it is only activated when one of the monitors connected to the distributor is activated. Video distribution in several outputs. Must be used in all video signal bifurcations.
