2450 - ADS VIDEO SWITCHER MODULE
The ADS switcher module is required in ADS systems with two video accesses, that is, in systems with 2 video entry panels or a video entry panel and an auxiliary camera. It is not necessary in systems in which one of the accesses is only audio. Its mission is to select the video signal from the panel from which the call has been made. This selection is by way of a signal (a negative) went from this panel through a thread «S» which connects the panel with the switcher. The switcher module has two inputs and an output. The coaxial cable is connected to the switcher input as is the power supply from the telecameras for the two ADS or auxiliary camera panels. The switcher selects the video from the active panel and connects the active input with the switcher output.
The switcher output is connected to the building’s video distribution stream. The switcher module is required in facilities with two video accesses, i.e. installations with 2 video entry outdoor panels or video entry panel plus auxiliary camera. It is not necessary in installations where one of the accesses is audio only. Its mission is to select the video signal from the panel where the call is from.
This is done by means of a signal (a negative) sent by the pane l through the "S" wire connecting the panel with the
switcher.
